Abstract

Rhabdomyosarcoma is a primary malignancy in children and adolescents that arises from embryonic mesenchyme with the potential to differentiate into skeletal muscle. Tumors may arise in any location, with prognosis affected by site, histology, local control, and metastatic speed.
