Abstract

A radioimmunoassay of the 15-keto-metabolite of prostaglandin E2 has been developed. The details of the assay are described. Using unextracted plama, serial measurements of 15-keto-PGE2 have been carried out every 15 minutes for 3 hours in 9 women ingesting 0.5 mg PGE2 oral tablets used for the induction of labour.
