Abstract
Resting membrane potentials, intracellularly measured from the basal turn of the guinea pig organ of Corti, were recorded in order to determine the sensitivity of this cell potential to anoxic hypoxia and to establish differential differences according to the cell's morphologic location, and therefore to cell type.
