Abstract
The clinical applications of optical coherence tomography (OCT) were discussed. These included gastrointestinal endoscopy, examination of the anterior segment of the eye, and dermatological studies. The clinical OCT imaging systems were found to be capable of imaging at several frames per second up to video rate, maintaining sufficient sensitivity and resolution to image many tissues of clinical significance.
