Abstract
A study tested the efficacy of antibiotics commonly used to treat corneal infections in killing intracellular Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Cultured cells were treated with antibiotics for 1 h and cell damage assessed using trypan blue exclusion. Two strains of P. aeruginosa (388 and PA01) were assessed. Finally, the number of survivors was determined the viable count.
