title = "Tumor metastasis to the eye. Part I. Incidence in 213 adult patients with generalized malignancy",
abstract = "In order to study the incidence of metastasis to the eye and orbit, 213 adult patients with proven metastatic disease were examined. Choroidal metastases were observed in five patients and orbital metastases were found in five additional patients. Breast carcinoma accounted for seven metastases, bronchogenic carcinoma for two and prostatic carcinoma for one. Orbital and ocular metastasis appear to be more common than previous studies demonstrate.",
