Abstract

This chapter will provide an overview of AMH as an important hormone in human reproductive biology and medicine. Many of the individual topics mentioned will be further addressed in greater detail in the chapters which follow. It is our hope that a better understanding of AMH's role in ovarian physiology and human reproduction may expand its growing array of clinical applications and lead to more directed therapeutic options in the future for various reproductive disorders.
