Abstract
Sjogren's syndrome is a chronic inflammatory disorder with multiple systemic manifestations. Because this syndrome has prominent ocular and respiratory manifestations, patients frequently present to the clinical allergist with suspected allergic disease. Because many of the manifestations of this disorder can result in significant medical morbidity, it is important for the clinician to be aware of the prominent features and potential treatment modalities of this condition. The reader is directed to many excellent reviews included in the references for more detailed information.
