Single-crystal conductivity measurements of hydrogen molybdenum bronzes

Abstract

This work reports single-crystal conductivity measurements for the hydrogen molybdenum bronzes H0.5MoO3 and H1.7MoO3 from room temperature to 130 and 65 K, respectively. Both bronzes show thermally activated conduction characteristic of semiconductors, with activation energies of 0.4 and 0.2 eV.
