Abstract

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/about/our-business/policies/article-withdrawal). < This article has been retracted at the request of the authors. The patient actually had urothelial cancer of the renal pelvis and not renal cell carcinoma as had been reported. The authors did not report that the patient's PRES resolved with glucocorticoid treatment. The oncology team disagreed with the authors’ attribution of the metabolic acidosis to posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome.
