Abstract

Ribonucleotide reductase has been partially purified from a mutant line of S49 mouse T-lymphoma cells which is less sensitive to normal feedback control by deoxyATP. The mutation for deoxyATP feedback resistance resides in the M1 subunit in this mutant. The mutant appears to contain two alleles for ribonucleotide reductase, a mutant allele and a wild type allele, which can be separated by affinity chromatography on deoxyATP-Sepharose.
