Abstract

The basic performance of the University of Washington modified Scanditronix SP3000 time-of-flight positron emission tomograph was characterized. Parameters measured included spatial resolution (in plane and axial) count rate. sensitivity. scatter fraction and recovery coefficient. Image examples include the Hoffman phantom and F-18 fluoride studies.
