Abstract
A case report with ocular histopathological findings of the Majewski form of short rib polydactyly is presented. The findings included cataract and optic atrophy. The systemic features of this syndrome and the ophthalmic findings are discussed in relation to the Meckel syndrome and trisomy 13, from which it must be differentiated.
