Abstract
The preliminary clinical experience indicates that the modified stents will be useful for expansion of obstructions of large veins and palliation of SVC syndrome. They also give prospects for palliation of recurrent inflammatory, postsurgical, and tumorous stenoses of larger biliary ducts and biliary-enteric anastomoses.
