Medullary sponge kidney and congenital hemihypertrophy: case report and literature review

Abstract

We report 2 cases of associated medullary sponge kidney and congenital hemihypertrophy. The major clinical manifestations are reviewed. Mental retardation and neoplasms are less common in hemihypertrophy when associated with medullary sponge kidney.
