Abstract

This Applied Optics Information Photonics (IP) special feature presents 14 papers that describe recent advances in the field. Information within this issue contains a representative selection of topics that were presented at the Optical Society of America Topical Meeting on Information Photonics (IP '05) as well as additional papers that were not presented at IP '05 but which were found to be relevant to IP as areas of current and future growth.
