In vivo endoscopic spectroscopy for light and drug dosimetry during photodynamic therapy of cancer

Abstract

A portable optical fiber spectroscopic system for endoscopic use is presented. The system uses reflectance to specify the tissue optical properties and uses reflectance-corrected fluorescence to determine drug accumulation.
