Abstract

The authors describe 3 SLE patients with erosions of the temporomandibular joints without erosive peripheral arthropathy. Recurrent 'earaches' may be the presenting complaint, and therapy with intraarticular steroid injection and/or antiinflammatory agents may be helpful in reducing pain.
