Drug-induced immune hematologic disease

Abstract

Drugs are often implicated in hematologic disease. Patient presentations can vary from just a positive Coombs' test on a routine laboratory screen to complete marrow aplasia. This article reviews the basic mechanism underlying drug-induced hematologic diseases and reviews specific diseases. Drugs commonly implicated in hematologic disease are also listed.
