Abstract

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) comprises two major immune-mediated disorders: ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD). These disorders have distinct pathologic and clinical characteristics. Extraintestinal manifestations including ocular involvement can be present in both diseases.
