Abstract

Red wagon rider, pale, puffy passenger parked in a white-coat forest harvested, then regrown by sliding doors opening, your pain-dulled, drug-blurred eyes stare uncomprehending as your pretty minder, yoked between wagon handle and I.V. pole, whispers reassurance. She promises journey's end, and as she pulls you slowly out past smiling clowns and dancing bears, her secret sighing signals another end past hope of new beginnings.
