Abstract
Comprehensive dementia care requires assessing outcomes across multiple domains including cognitive function, functional disability, neuropsychiatric symptoms, quality of life, and caregiver burden. There are a number of outcome instruments currently available to evaluate dementia patients across the range of problems experienced in dementia. Clinical dementia outcomes will be used as quality measures and for reimbursement schemes in the future.
